Our Team
Head Coach Frank Perrelli
- Has been under the tutelage of Sam Calavitta as an athlete and/ or trainer since 2018
- As an athlete, Frank was a High School State Champion Wrestler in New Jersey.
- From there he went on to become a Division 1 All- American at Cornell University, graduating in 2012.
- After college, he continued wrestling Freestyle domestically and internationally until 2021
- He was a US Open Runner up and 7 time US Open All-American. In 2021 he transitioned to a position as the Head Coach at Spartan Combat RTC. He served at that position along side his duties as Head Trainer of Treigning Lab East Coast until 2025 when he transitioned full time as a Treigning Lab Practitioner and opening a secondary location, Treigning Lab Oklahoma.
- At Spartan he has coached athletes to 15 World Team berths, 4 UWW World Championship Gold Medals, 2 UWW World Championship Silver, and one UWW World Championship Bronze Medal.

When I booked this last fight I knew I wanted to use Frank as well as the Treigning Lab East Coast, so I went up and did some initial testing WHICH WAS FUN!!! Throughout my camp, Frank was there 24/7 whether it was macro breakdown, low base training, especially fight week with water load and supplementation. Every question I had throughout the 9 weeks he had an answer for which made it EASY for me!! I encourage anyis a wrestler, MMA fighter, or combat athlete to reach out and give TLEC a try.
